NHS COVID Vaccination Service
We're pleased to continue supporting the NHS by offering free COVID vaccinations for eligible adults aged 18 and over at Hedon Pharmacy. If you qualify, you can get your NHS COVID jab with us - simple, convenient and close to home.
Spring booster now closed
The COVID Spring Booster service is now closed at Hedon Pharmacy. The next scheduled NHS COVID booster campaign is due to begin in the first week of October 2026.
You can still get a COVID booster privately at Hedon Pharmacy all year round.
Free MenB vaccine for young people
Hedon Pharmacy is taking part in the NHS time-limited MenB vaccination campaign for young people.
The service runs from 20 July 2026 until 31 March 2027. You can get the vaccine free if you were born on or after 21 July 2001 and are starting university or residential further education this autumn, or if you were born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008.
The vaccine is given in 2 doses at least 4 weeks apart, so getting your first dose early gives you time to be fully protected before term starts.
NHS COVID vaccination eligibility
You may be eligible for a free NHS COVID booster if you fall into one of the following groups:
- Individuals who are immunosuppressed aged 18 years and over
- Residents in care homes for older adults
- Adults aged 75 years and over

You can still protect yourself with a private COVID booster at Hedon Pharmacy. Available year-round for adults who want peace of mind ahead of travel, work or seasonal changes.
